Easycare 7

A 120cm wide bariatric mattresses – clinically advanced 7” mattress system for very high risk patients, vulnerable and complex patients, when only zero pressure will do.

This extremely adaptable and auto-adjustable system allows the caregiver to react quickly to avoid pressure ulcers forming or to stop current wounds worsening in vulnerable patients. The intuitive pump features automatic weight and body mass monitors avoiding the need for manual weight input, whilst delivering individual pressure adjustment based on how each patients weight is distributed.

When zero pressure is required for specific body areas, e.g. heels, sacrum, shoulder blades etc, the PressureGUARD cells are instantly removeable without disturbance to the patient and are replaced with a shallower PressureGUARD link cell with CLIKFIT, thus achieving zero pressure as required.

Pump – Technical Features

  • Fully automatic patient weight and body mass sensing and position on mattress monitoring – allows the lowest possible interface whilst avoiding bottoming out. 
  • Continuous intelligent monitoring and adjustment on body mass and movement.
  • Patient out of bed alarm (can be switched off if required) automatically alarms when patient vacates the bed
  • Seating boost for heavier patients
  • Clinicians comfort override ( to make softer or firmer dependent on the clinicians choice)
  • Dynamic or Constant Low pressure (CLP) choice of therapies
  • Bluetooth access with phone APP to remotely access pump controls. Control the pump via your phone, tablet or laptop – change comfort settings, lock or unlock pump, put mattress into Autofirm mode or seating boost, check patient pressure graph to see if patient has turned over recently (thus avoiding the need to turn vulnerable patient at night thus aiding healing). Many other remote features including alarms etc
  • Cell pressure mapping allows technicians to check the pump performance & pressures without even entering the patients room
  • Increase or decrease cell internal pressures to suit patients requirements in steps of 1mmHg 
  • Visual historical record of patient movements and pressure against the skin– to allow clinicians to look at and discuss the patients ability to self turn at night and discuss patients skin condition.
