What is PressureGUARD? This extremely adaptable mattress can fit around your patient’s body, their needs and their medical requirements. Featuring 18cm* square top*, cell in cell* technology, it allows the caregiver to react instantly to avoid pressure ulcers forming or stop current wounds worsening in vulnerable patients. Every cell comes with KlikFit* connectors so that caregivers can instantly remove cells, lower cells or swap full height cells for a shorter Link* cell. This means any existing wound, developing wound, area of pain, unusual sleeping position or laying position can be accommodated by cell heights to fit around the patients body.
You can create heel slopes or zero pressure areas for delicate areas such as sacrum, shoulder blades in seconds – often without even disturbing the patient. For proning patients, this is quickly and easily created so that critically ill patients can be safely left in the prone position.
