Easycare Hybrid is exactly what it says it is. A simple yet technologically advanced hybrid replacement mattress system – a synergy of comfort, therapy, and automatic easy care.

Whether you use it with or without the auto weight setting pump, your patient will enjoy the comfort of the GelFoam with interfaces to maximise pressure distribution. The multi-stretch cover aids movement by helping to avoid shear injuries and allows moisture to escape whilst remaining waterproof.

If a step up in care or therapy is required for your patient, with the auto weight setting on the pump on, the system turns effortlessly into a high risk replacement with active therapy providing low pressure dynamic interfaces – without any disturbance for the patient or caregiver. The pump is ‘plug and play’ so even when untrained staff have to use this at a moment’s notice it is quick, easy and effective.

Pump

  • Auto weight setting – no need to keyin patient’s weight.
  • Plug and Play – plug it in and switch it on – everything is done for you.
  • APA – Auto ressure Adjustment – continually monitors the internal pressures so that it delivers the optimum interface pressures as patients move and change.
  • Low pressure and power failure audible and visual alarms.
  • Clinician override means Tissue Viability Nurses can override the auto setting to provide a lower or higher internal cell pressure as required.
  • Low intensity filters on the LED screen lowers the brightness of the LED display to aid sleep.

Mattress

  • High Risk Static castellated GelFoam mattress for comfort, immersion and pressure redistribution able to support and shape around bony protuberances to provide maximum comfort and give pressure relief.
  • Up to 250kg patient weight.
  • Firm foam side formers to aid patient transfers and give a more comfortable sleeping experience for patients who tend to sleep towards the edge of the bed.
  • Vapour permeable, waterproof multi-stretch cover.
  • Hidden cells will inflate at the flick of a switch if the patient requires active therapy.
  • Foam base in the event of power cut prevents patients bottoming out.
  • Covered hose for better infection control.
  • Individual replaceable cells.
  • Mechanical (or Dynamic) Therapy loading & offloading fully allows perfusion and thus reactive hyperemia.
